There are various benefits to belonging to an Alliance such as sharing resources and troops and even an Alliance Skill Tree once the Alliance reaches level 10.
The players are split over a number of servers (called Kingdoms) and there is a heavy emphasis on working in teams ( Alliances) War and Magic is a MMO for mobile platforms that is based on Heroes of Might and Magic and other similar games.
